Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone 

In 2019 we had a variety of free activities on offer to keep the smallest festival-goers entertained all Easter weekend! From singing, dancing, playing instruments and getting creative with crafts there was something on offer to suit every child. The hardest part .... choosing which day to join in! The Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone was the place every child wanted to be! 

Headspace Chill Out Zone 

Thursday 18th April, 5:30pm - 8:30pm - Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone 
Headspace Gladstone organised a 'chill out zone' within Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone on Thursday night! Our first night time activity area for the Kids Zone! They were facilitating the following free activities: board games, card games, giant Jenga, mini foosball/pool table, positive message wall, table tennis along with bean bags, phone chargers and music!

Crafty Capers Craft Workshops

Friday 19th April, 10 am - 2pm - Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone 
Our good friends at Crafty Capers were running interactive workshops for the kids on Good Friday. Linking in with our Street Parade theme, think all things sound & colour. From the making of colourful wind wheels, clucking cups, kazoo's, sparkling fireworks paintings, to filling miniature jars with coloured sand kid wanted to miss out on these workshops! 

International Music Stall 

Saturday 20th April, 10 am - 2pm - Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone

A day full of song and dance with a focus on music from all around the world. Kids got the opportunity to come and learn multicultural dances with the help of experienced instructors. There was also a section filled with games and paints for those a little too shy to get up and have a boogie! All thanks to local Gladstone business - Welcoming Intercultural Neighbours Inc.

PCYC's Blue Light Trailer

Saturday 20th April, 6pm - 9pm - Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone 

 PCYC Gladstone brought their Blue Light Trailer to the Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone this Festival! Entertaining teens all night long with their variety of Playstation games and other activities planned.

Stockland Gladstone's Teddy Bear's Picnic 

Saturday 20th April, 2pm - Main Stage Hill Marquee 

If you went down to the festival today, you were sure of a big surprise... if you went down to the festival today, you'd better have gone in disguise... for every bear that ever was there will gather there for certain, because today's the day the teddy bears had their picnic! Kids were sure to grab their picnic rug and favourite teddy bear, whether they were big, small, old or new for the Teddy Bears Picnic. There were lots of prizes on offer, and of course our annual Easter Egg Hunt! 

Drum Beats

Sunday 21st April, 10am - 2pm - Australia Pacific LNG Kids Zone 

Drum Beats were facilitating a high energy interactive world drumming workshops on Easter Sunday! Musicians had 20 drums for children to participate and join in - learning all there is to know about dropping a beat on the drums. Whether they were music star already, or didn't have a musical bone in their body these workshops catered to everyone and were so much fun!
