About the Festival

Held from Thursday 28th - Sunday 31st March 2024, the annual Gladstone Harbour Festival program will once again enticed, excite and engage the Gladstone community and visitors to the region.

2024’s program will include a fantastic variety of quality entertainment on the GPC Marina Main Stage each night, fun rides for the kids, a great selection of tasty food court treats, food court entertainment, Marina Markets, fabulous fireworks displays and plenty of novelty events and attractions.

The Gladstone Harbour Festival has come a long way since it’s humble beginnings on the back of a truck at the entrance to Central Park, to its present home at the Gladstone Ports Corporation Marina stage and parklands.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the Festival, whether it's getting a crew together to participate in the Great Raft Regatta, offering some of your time to help volunteer and jumping on board as a sponsor, in-kind supporter or Friend of the Festival.

For more information on the Festival or to find out how you can get involved, call our friendly team on 07 4972 5111, write us an email at events1@gladstonefestival.com or pop by our office at the Marina Parklands for a chat!

Save the date for 2024's Festival - We look forward to seeing you there!

Festival FAQ's and Tips

Admission Fees
Entry into the Festival is completely FREE! Along with many of the awesome kids activities, workshops and the fantastic main stage entertainment.

Getting to the Festival & Parking
Parking is available at Central Queensland University in the Marina Parklands, and in the parking area next to the Fish Market on Lord St. These areas are facilitated by our friends from SES and a gold coin donation will be applicable.

If you're planning on having a dagwood dog or two (let's face it - it's not Festival time until you do have one!) and don't mind a bit of a walk to and from the Festival site, there is also parking available further down in the Marina near the Visitor Information Centre and in the Gladstone CBD.

If you're just dropping someone off to the Festival you can utilise the turnaround/stop, drop and go zone - just turn right at the second roundabout after the Marina Bridge.

Disabled Parking
Disabled parking is available in the Turnaround Zone parking area, right at the second roundabout after the Marina Bridge.

First Aid
The first aid station is located at the main entrance to the Festival, to the right of the welcome sign.

There is no ATM's on site at the Festival, please note that all vendors accept card transactions.

Cost of Rides
The rides cost between $5 - $15 per ride.

Is the Festival Pet Friendly?
Pets on leashes are permitted in the GPC Marina Parklands, however we do not recommend that you bring your four-legged friend into the Festival site, with the exception of service dogs.

Alcohol at Festival
Around the Gladstone Harbour Festival is a dry event. However, there is a bar situated where you can sit and have a beverage within the bar area.

Don't forget to bring along your camera to snap all those awesome festival shots! Remember to hashtag your pics with #gladstoneharbourfestival when sharing!
